Magnetic Insulated Roof Vent Sun Cover for MaxxAir Fan, Fantastic Fan

VanEssential Designs offers a blackout fan vent cover to help you sleep in, no matter when the sun rises. The cover is designed to fit the MaxxAir Fan or Fantastic Fan with a 16.5″ x 16.5″ flange, with the goal of minimizing light leakage and providing superior temperature regulation using automotive grade insulation.

The cover is simple to install, requiring just a few steps. First, the fan/vent flange is removed from the interior of the van and placed on a flat surface with the window cover and magnets. The cover uses Neodymium rare earth magnets for maximum holding power in both hot and cold temperatures. The cover also features UV treatments on the fabric and thread, offering protection rated to UPF50+ for longevity.

VanEssential is also proud to use only the highest quality automotive grade insulation available on the market, with a double-faced pure aluminum 5mm foam insulation with adhesive. This insulation reflects 97% of radiant heat and has a maximum operation temperature of <80C (176f). The covers are made from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles, offering superior durability and longevity compared to standard Polyester or Nylon fabrics.

The vent covers are designed to be quick & easy to install and come with a matching color storage sack for stowing during travel. They are compatible with MaxxAir Fan or Fantastic Fan 16.5 inch x 16.5 inch flanges, but will not work with shallow mounted fans where the opening knob hangs lower than the roof line.
